IN CHRISTIAN LOVE

Dear Church Family,

FBC Batesville, MS, is used by God to have a global reach as we ā€œgoā€ and preach the gospel and equip churches. Bro. Tommy and I are thankful to be part of God’s plan to reach the lost of India and to strengthen pastors and churches here in God’s Word.

We praise God for the opportunity to represent Jesus Christ here in India due to the gracious support of this church. God is moving in big ways in parts of this country, and it is inspiring to see Him working.

In Christian love,
John

Hello Church Family,

How can it already be December! God made a plan to rescue us. In eternity past, He made a plan that Jesus His Son would put aside His Glory, take on a body, come to this planet as a baby, be born in a barn, and grow up to be a Man, and never committing a sin! He did millions of good things, but He NEVER did anything wrong. His HEART is perfect and pure. And that’s the kind of heart we need in order to have a relationship with God. Thankfully, Jesus can forgive your sin and give you a new heart.

Jesus never sinned but agreed to take the punishment for sin that we deserve. When Jesus was on the cross, God put the sins (past present and future) of the world onto Jesus. 2 COR 5:21 states that ā€œHe (God) made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.ā€ God can save you from your sin by giving you a new heart.

When a person is convicted by the power of the Holy Spirit, he/she has the opportunity to trust in a Savior, Jesus Christ who had no sins to pay for went to the cross and died to pay your sin debt. Jesus died and rose again, and God says you can be saved. He takes the perfectness of Jesus and puts it in your heart, so that when He looks at you, He sees the perfectness of Jesus.

Trusting Jesus Christ as your Savior makes you ready to get to be with God one day, but it also gives you joy and Love for Him and you can enjoy God right now. You can believe in Jesus right now and have your heart made new. The moment you trust Jesus Christ as your Savior, the Holy Spirit comes to live inside of you and only HE can give you Divine Power to live a heavenly-like life in a sometimes hell-like world.

Please save December 14, at 6:00 p.m. to your calendar and join us for the Children’s Christmas musical. Invite your family and friends to hear and see The Mystery of the Missing Manger. The Cherub choir will sing too.

In Christ,

Miss Jennifer

Parents Night Out was a huge success. My philosophy is that children flourish when parents have a healthy marriage. I am so grateful for the help of Brandy and Barry Moss, Dan and Rachel Kirkland, Cindy and Russel Pierce, Richard and Karen Covington, Jason and Leslie Covington, Miss Dorothy, Ben Browning and his sisters, Emma and Lydia, Ella, Claire and Harper Covington, Harper Smith, and Conner Richey.
